Be prepared to be dazzled by vibrant floats, lively music, traditional Irish dancers, and so much more as the parade winds its way through the charming streets of Downtown Melbourne. It’s a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in Irish culture, connect with fellow community members, and celebrate the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day in true style.

The City of Cape Canaveral, Florida, proudly commemorates Irish-American Heritage Month this March 2025. In recognition of the remarkable legacy of Irish nationals—whose early migration helped shape America’s fight for independence; whose descendants include signers of the Declaration of Independence, pioneering naval heroes like Commodore John Barry, and influential leaders in education, business, and the arts—we celebrate a heritage defined by courage, innovation, and unity. Proclaimed by Mayor Wes Morrison and accepted by the Ancient Order of Hibernians of Brevard County District II, this month honors the enduring contributions of Irish-Americans to our nation’s rich history.
